The mission statement declares:
"We, the Chicago Temple youth group 'Open Hands', seek to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ, through mission projects, education, and relationships in a fun, safe and welcoming environment."

The officers are Emiliano Vasquez, president; Zulema Flores, vice-president; Ulises Gonzales, secretary; Kennan Carnegie, treasurer.

A Sunday School class for youth meets at 10 a.m. every Sunday in 3rd Floor Conference Room.

The youth group meets every second Sunday of the month at 12:15 p.m. through 1:45 p.m.
