Temple Forum: Broad Church Methodism (11/3/2019)
Join us at the Temple for an opportunity to hear from Methodist scholar and Wheaton College professor, Dr. Jeffrey Barbeau. Dr. Barbeau will speak from his recent book, The Spirit of Methodism: From the Wesleys to a Global Communion, to introduce the origins and growth of Methodism around the world. In an upbeat lecture and discussion, Dr. Barbeau will guide us into the surprising history of the church and how that story shapes the UMC today. Dr. Barbeau will have discounted copies of his book available after the lecture. All are welcome!
